Donahue's Purple Varieties of Clematis

DANIEL DERONDA DANIEL DERONDA:
Deep purple with lighter markings down the middle of each petal. A very robust grower. June and September blooming.
ELSA SPATH `ELSA SPATH:
Rich lavender, overlapping to give somewhat of a double appearance. Red Anthers. Very free flowering.
GENERAL SIKORSKI `GENERAL SIKORSKI:
Very hardy dark lavender with tints of red on petals. Cream color anthers. 8-9" flowers. June and September blooming.
`GYPSY QUEEN: `GYPSY QUEEN:
Velvet rich purple with reddish-purple anthers. Very prolific blooming 6" flower. July, August and September blooming.
HAKU OOKAN HAKU OOKAN:
Eight long tapered deep violet petals that tend to incurve. A 6-7" flower with white anthers. Blooms May, June and September. Early flowers tend to be semi-double. Very different and interesting!
JACKMANII `JACKMANII:
The most profuse blooming dark purple Clematis. June, July and September blooming.
JACKMANII SUPERBA `JACKMANII SUPERBA:
Rich velvet purple, 5" open flowers. More rounded and slightly larger flower than Jackmanii. Blooms July & September.
`LADY BETTY BALFOUR:
Rich purple petals with creamy white anthers. 5-6" flowers blooming July and September.
MRS. JAMES MASON MRS. JAMES MASON:
The 6-7" fully rounded flowers are blue with light purple central bar and cream anthers. Strong growing and blooms May-June and August-September.

MULTI-BLUE `MULTI-BLUE:
Very double dark blue to purple 4-5" flowers. Blooms late spring/early summer and again late summer on to fall, but always double flowers. One of the best double flowering Clematis!
MULTI-BLUE NATASCHA:
The compact and free-flowering mauve-blue flowers are 4-5" in size. It has prominent red anthers. Blooms June through July and late August.

PERRIN'S PRIDE PERRIN'S PRIDE:
5-7" rounded petals of deep purple even darkening towards the edges. Striking bronze anthers. Profuse blooming Clematis throughout the summer, June through September.
RHAPSODY RHAPSODY:
Very pretty free flowering clematis with stunning sapphire blue petals which deepen in color with age. Creamy yellow anthers. Blooms July-September
ROYALTY `ROYALTY:
Double to semi-double dark purple 5-6" flowers with striking yellow anthers. Blooms through the summer. Striking! Introduced in 1995!
THE PRESIDENT `THE PRESIDENT:
Deep purple with purple anthers. Continuous bloomer and does not fade in the sun. Large 7-8" flowers bloom June-September.
VICTORIA VICTORIA:
Rosy purple flowers with darker center bar, buff color anthers. 7-8" flowers. June blooming and again August/September.
VITICELLA, POLISH SPIRIT `VITICELLA, POLISH SPIRIT:
Very rich purple-blue 3-4" open flowers. Outstanding new cultivar from a priest in Poland. Flowers profusely and suitable as a cut flower.

WARSAW NIKE:
A rich velvet purple variety which produces 5" wide open flowers in late May thru September. Warsaw Nike grows to a height of approximately 8-10 feet. Introduced in 1996.
