A plum purple clematis with a crimson central bar and reddish-cream anthers

The seven or eight overlapping plum-purple petals have a crimson central bar and reddish-cream anthers. The flowers open wide as they mature and the tips of the petals curve slightly. Flowers are 4-5″ in size. Blooms May-June and August. Pruning type 2.
